Hello everyone! Today I am going to share some pictures I took during my walk in Rockbund Chalet. It is located in Marina Island, Perak, Malaysia. Marina Island is actually an artificial island which was built on top of the ocean. It is a nice to place to relax in, away from the busy city life. This is my entry for this week's #wednesdaywalk tag, initiated by @tattoodjay.

Rockbund Chalet is a wonderful place to go fishing. You can rent the items there. There are also chalets available for those who would like to stay overnight. Some of them are large enough to accommodate a family. On the other hand, camping related activities such as barbecuing can also be done. If you don't have the tools, the management will provide you with them for a rental fee. If you prefer not to do that but you're wondering about food, there is a restaurant there which is within a few footsteps. Otherwise, you can drive around to other food outlets nearby.

This is a snap I took on the way there. This is the roundabout before turning to go to Marina Island. You can see the writing saying Marina Island here but unfortunately it is backwards as I was behind it.

This is a giant TV I saw. I think they turn it on at night. By the way, check out the colourful wall pattern. How cool!

There's a part in Marina Island where they store many boats. I have seen plenty of them and sometimes stop to take pictures and videos because they look so cool. Most of them are from overseas while some are local ones. These are real boats used during marine activities before.

Here's a better look at this boat. It says Ubatuba, which is a coastal municipality located in Brazil. So I am guessing that is the origin of this boat.

On the left, the white sailboat is named Chandara and I guess the words make the name of the hailing port which is Oriental NC. The other boat says Parotia and unfortunately I can't read the origin location.

Upon reaching closer, I saw many large trees like these.

Almost there! This is actually the left side of the ocean. It is a lake where people go to do light recreational activities. There was also a large blown up pool for children to play but I didn't take pictures of that as it may not be appropriate.

Welcome to the Rockbund Chalet. This is how it looks initially. There are other facilities as we keep going. Someone is fishing in the picture above.

This is how they set up jetties along the ocean. The view from here is beautiful.

This is how the jetty looks. There are stairs to walk down to it and then we need to carefully walk to the larger stage of jetty.

How beautiful is this! I loved the view. It was also very windy.

This is the beautiful ocean. It was so blue, bluer than this picture in real life. The sun rays hitting the waves gave a nice contrasting highlights on the ocean surface.

I took a selfie with the ocean. Too bad it wasn't so visible but it's okay.

The waves hit the stones hard. I wish I can show a video here. The splashing sounds were pleasant. By the way, on some parts, there were little crabs moving on the stones. I guess they were brought to the edge by the waves. I found many of them but couldn't get a clear picture of them.

Oops, I accidentally took the picture with my finger in the frame as I didn't realize it. The situation was getting a little chaotic with more people being there.

The lamp turns on at night. This is a beautiful angle of the jetty and nice to take pictures with the lamp and ocean. It almost looks like a cruise.
