Chipmunks in Banff — Ardillas salvajes en Banff (En/Es) | World Photography Contest — Wild animals of the world

Some years ago I visited Banff (Alberta, Canada) and I did a lot of tracking in this beautiful national park. While I was hiking I met different wild animals among them many chipmunks and wild squirrels next to their burrows. Notice haw they are camouflaged with their surroundings. The photos that I show today are from that time. These animals are very nice and “friendly”.

Ya hace bastantes años que visité Banff (Alberta, Canadá) e hice senderismo en este bello parque nacional. En varias de las excursiones me encontré con ardillas salvajes, bastante diferentes a las que normalmente se encuentran en las regiones urbanas, noten como están comuflajeadas con su entorno. Me llamó mucho la atención ver sus madrigueras. Las fotos que muestro hoy fueron tomadas en aquel viaje. Encontré que estos animales eran bastante “sociables” y hasta “simpáticos”.
