To show oneself and our own suffering is seen as weakness, and weakness is seen as evil in a so called modern society. But weakness is the biggest strength. Admitting to a weakness is admitting to ourselves, it stops us from raising ourselves above others, it is grounding, healing and would make our race a better if we could all just reach that level of admittance again.

As long as the minds are blinded by false promises, weakness will be seen as not trendy. But the more people admit to it and own it, the more "trendy" it might become. To accept a weakness is so liberating and once we are liberated we can become the best versions of ourselves.

Oh yes, you are so right. To admit one's flaws is power as taking responsibility is the highest form of maturity, especially emotionally.
Trendy is not always the good direction, actually I think that if many people go one way, that is a good indicator that you should not follow.
