En esta serie se incluyó una nueva covertura y que le da el toque colorido a la composición. Es una dona recubierta de chocolate blanco con colorante rojo sabor a fresa.
Como siempre comencé con las líneas a lápiz que esta vez las hice demasiado claras y hubo momentos que se me perdieron de vista.

A new cover was included in this series and gives the composition a colourful touch. It is a doughnut covered with white chocolate with strawberry-flavored red dye.
As always I started with the pencil lines which this time I made them too clear and there were moments when I lost sight of them.

Lo bueno de la acuarela es que, como se trabaja paso a paso hay muy poco margen de error. Siempre tienes oportunidad de corregir a no ser que apliques un color puro sin diluir y te equivoques, pero de igual forma se puede solucionar más fácil que con otras pinturas como por ejemplo el óleo.

Sigo oscureciendo las zonas. Ya le di la base a la masa y paso a la rejilla, con un gris claro para que me quede de fondo.

Llega el momento de poner el chocolate y aquí fue donde perdí algunas líneas por lo claras que las hice.
Apliqué las chispas de chocolate en su primera capa (depués les daría más énfasis). También la primera capa del relleno de Nutella, para que luego vaya oscureciendo.
En la rejilla también le di más sombras; añadí la de la dona principal.

En esta etapa entraron en juego los creyones, para dar más volumen y suavizar algunos tonos.
El primero fue el marrón terracota para suavizar los degradados. Después apliqué el negro para realzar la imagen y sobre todo las chispas de chocolate, auqnue también en la rejilla.
Por último usé el blanco para algunos brillos en degradados y también en la rejilla.
Algo que también hice fue aplicar un poco de blanco puro con acuarela ya que había brillos muy fuertes y contrastados a los que el creyón no llegaba.
At this stage the crayons came into play, to give more volume and soften some tones.
The first was the terracotta brown to soften the gradients. Then I applied black to enhance the image and especially the chocolate chips, even though they were also on the grid.
Finally I used the white for some glosses in gradients and also in the grid.
Something I also did was to apply a little pure white with watercolor because there were very strong and contrasting shades that the crayon could not reach.
