All I can say is, I'm ready for Inktober.

So... apparently, I get bored easily. I was getting really irritated with my Liliana Vessa piece not panning how I wanted and so decided to change gears and style.

It was really had fun playing with shapes via ink.

THE DARK KNIGHT

"You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain"

For a comic book fan, I'm surprised that I hadn't done this before. After watching a Brian Stelfreeze interview on YouTube and seeing his use of a brush pen, I switched up after taking a short break from the Liliana piece, which was starting to eat away at my confidence.

It's very important that, as a new or amateur artist, if you find a block during work to switch up style and even genre. It's very important that you don't let a creative roadblock, whether it be not knowing how to proceed with a piece or starting something, mess with your confidence. I found that it helps me a lot.

Tools:

  • Samsung Tab SM-T805 (Ipad Pro or a Wacom one in my wishlist)
  • Infinite Painter Android
  • Photoshop Express Android
