I usually scribble while chatting with people on the phone, listen to a podcast or do some activity that allows me to have my hands free although the attention is generally in a place different than the paper. As a result of lack of concentration, sometimes unexpected scenes come out ... like this one, which I drew on a napkin and decided to add digital color with Photoshop.
ESP: Hola amigos! Suelo garabatear mientras charlo con la gente al teléfono, escucho algún podcast o hago alguna actividad que me permita tener las manos liberadas aunque la atención generalmente en otra parte, diferente del papel. Como resultado de la falta de concentración a veces salen escenas inesperadas...como ésta, que dibujé en una servilleta y a la que decidí añadir color digital en Photoshop.
And here you can see the digital inking, with the lines drawn in black, in the previous step to add color. Despite having a little less volume than the color version, sometimes I also like simple drawings, in black and white, so that the lines and masses of black have a special role.
Y aquí podéis ver el entintado digital, con las líneas trazadas en negro, en el paso previo a añadirle color. A pesar de tener algo menos de volúmen que en la versión a color, a veces también me gustan los dibujos simples, en blanco y negro, para que las líneas y masas de negro tengan especial protagonismo.
