CLOUD SERVERS

in OnChainArt3 years ago

Hello!

Working from home puts such heavy reliance on our tech and gadgets these days. I'm no tech expert and personally, the term 'cloud server' is just this elusive place that holds a higher CPU/GPU/RAM/Rendering powers. 😛 It's silly I know, but nevertheless, this particular piece has been inspired by my company's server that never fail (haha, the irony) to cause chaos every time it actually fails and crash from high traffic or what not.

Shoutout to @zord189 for introducing this 3D software called MagicaVoxel which quickly pixelates ANY OBJ models you import in, super fun with a lightning fast renderer. It's pretty cool for a quick project like this.

Keeping this short, here are the final output:

Base model is modelled in Maya, then later brought into MagicaVoxel. Final color grading is quickly done in Nuke. Here's a quick GIF of my working process:

Who else hates it when their server or network crashes? Like weathering a storm isn't it? 😣
