As usual in drawing practice, every day I am creating a portrait, illustration or a famous person and today I allow myself to share with you a small drawing of... Rami Malek. An American film actor of Egyptian origin who played the famous singer Freddie Mercury in the film... Bohemian Rhapsody. Drawing that has been made using a 2B graphite pencil.

Drawing realistic faces and character illustrations with graphite pencil is a passion that requires skill, dedication, and practice. As with any artistic skill, practice is essential to improve. It is important to know the technique, to have inspiration and creativity, and above all to have fun when drawing, to take advantage of the available resources to continue improving. Although drawing realistic faces requires precision and technique, it is also important to let your imagination and creativity fly to create unique and original characters.

To create this drawing, a small sheet of white paper measuring 17 x 28 centimeters and a 2B graphite pencil were used to create the face and its parts such as the shape of his gaze, eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips and hair. Once this part has been created, we continue with the skin, applying a very soft layer of graphite as if caressing the paper, and then with the help of a small soft bristle brush, expand the graphite and thus create a smooth and even surface, exposing the different tones for lights and shadows.

Then, for the darker shadows and to give depth to the portrait, we will use the same 2B pencil, but applying a little more pressure on the paper, but keep in mind that you must have a firm but light hand to carefully mix and blend the drawing. to obtain a uniform and realistic finish.

For the hair, we take the 2B pencil and create a first layer with very soft lines, and then blend with the brush. We return with a second layer, but with a little more pressure, applying to the darker areas of the hair and then blending with the brush. And finally with 2B we created part of the suit by applying a double layer and with slight pressure and with an eraser I brought out highlights, in the same way some parts of his face to give a touch of realism to the drawing.

Como es de costumbre en la práctica de dibujo, cada día estoy creando algún retrato, ilustración o un personaje famoso y hoy me permito compartir con ustedes un dibujo pequeño de... Rami Malek. Un actor de cine estadounidense de origen egipcio que interpreto al famoso cantante Freddie Mercury en la pelicula... Bohemian Rhapsody. Dibujo que ha sido realizada utilizando un lápiz de grafito 2B.

Dibujar rostros realistas e ilustraciones de personajes con lápiz de grafito es una pasión que requiere habilidad, dedicación y práctica. Como en cualquier habilidad artística, la práctica es esencial para mejorar. Es importante conocer la técnica, tener inspiración y creatividad, y sobre todo divertirse a la hora de dibujar, aprovechar los recursos disponibles para seguir mejorando. Aunque el dibujo de rostros realistas requiere de precisión y técnica, también es importante dejar volar la imaginación y la creatividad para crear personajes únicos y originales.

Para crear este dibujo se usó una pequeña hoja de papel blanco de 17 x 28 centímetros y el lápiz de grafito 2B creando el rostro y sus partes como la forma de su mirada, ojos, sus cejas, nariz, labios y cabello. Ya creado esta parte seguimos con la piel, aplicando una capa de grafito muy suave como acariciando el papel, para luego con la ayuda de un pequeño pincel de cerda suave expandir el grafito y así crear una superficie suave y pareja dejando a la vista los diferentes tonos para las luces y sombras.

Luego para las sombras más oscuras y darle profundidad al retrato usaremos el mismo lápiz 2B, pero haciendo un poco más de presión sobre el papel, pero hay que tener en cuenta que se debe tener una mano firme pero liviana para mezclar y difuminar cuidadosamente el dibujo para obtener un acabado uniforme y realista.

Para el cabello tomamos el lápiz 2B y creamos una primera capa con líneas muy suaves, para luego difuminar con el pincel. Volvemos con una segunda capa, pero con un poco más de presión, aplicando en las zonas más oscuras del cabello para luego difuminamos con el pincel. Y finalmente con el 2B creamos parte del traje aplicando una doble capa y con una leve presión y con un borrador he ir sacando luces, de igual manera algunas partes de su rostro para así dar un toque de realismo al dibujo.

This drawing took me three hours of work. Although I would have liked to have included more images of the step-by-step process, unfortunately, it was not possible because it was a practice drawing done from start to finish. Este dibujo me tomó tres horas de trabajo. A pesar de que me hubiera gustado haber incluido mas imágenes del proceso paso a paso, desafortunadamente, no me fue posible debido que fue un dibujo de practica hecho de principio a fin.
