The meeting of two personalities is like the
contact of two chemical substances:
if there is any reaction, both are transformed.

My latest NFT Synchronization is now available

Amazing! I can't even imagine the render time for that material, Was this made in Blender or C4D?

A few years back, I made a similar concept - with a glowing heart in a glass figure.

This was rendered through keyshot though.

Thank you! It took around 12 hours on the SheepIt Renderfarm for Blender. On my machine one frame in 2560x2560 pix. rendered 7-10 minutes.

Oh wow! I must admit, I've been following you work for a while now, and I'm always blown away by the level of detail and scale in your scenes. It's really cool to learn that you use renderfarms as well.

Awesome work, man! I have some friends here in LA who are toy/movie/entertainment industry artists coming to me wanting to make NFTs. On one hand I feel like I should set them up on one of the eth markets, but I have this fantasy that getting legit artists to publish NTFs on Hive could send us to the moon.

I actually came over here to see how you are doing it. Perhaps it is way I should suggest it to them! I am totally new to NFTs.

Thanks Rick!
It would be greet to have a functioning NFT platform running on Hive, but unfortunately this is very unlikely to happen. If you wan to look into it you need to use one of the NFT platforms like SuperRare, MakersPlace, KnownOrigin, Rarible, OpenSea, Foundation,... there are many. The problem is that after the whole NFT thing went mainstream everyone wants to get there. Now they either are overwhelmed with applications or they run on invitation only. As fas as I know it's still possible to join OpenSea and Rarible.
The other problem is in the exorbitant transaction fees of the Ethereum blockchain. Minting an NFT cost today around 100 USD. If you set it as an open auction then accepting a bid will cost you another 70-100 USD. So you need to sell your NFT for more than what you spend of fees. If you have a name and followers you might get there, if not it will be very difficult to be noticed in the crowd.

Yeah, the fees are insane. That is part of reason that I wanted to try a different blockchain, but all the non-eth platforms come off as unprofessional to me.

Yesterday I tried to join MakersPlace and like you say, it looks to be invite only. I noticed @reinhard-schmid is on there! Cool. One of my buddies, Steve Varner, has some serious industry cred but is not a household name. We shall see if I can get him hooked up.

I get it though, and don't blame them for being picky. The problem is, if you don't vet people, you end up with a big mess of crap to wade through. I am noticing this on Opensea already, which as you say is still open to the general public.

update: oops, it wasn't Makersplace that I tried to sign up for, now that I am looking. It one of the others that just took my email and said they'd be in touch. Apparently I already have a Makersplace account... Don't even remember making it.

MakersPlace is a great platform. I didn't make my best sales there but others migh have.

This is definitely one of the better works that I had seen in the Metaverse until now...

“Cada persona que pasa por nuestra vida es única. Siempre deja un poco de sí y se lleva un poco de nosotros. Habrá los que se llevarán mucho, pero no habrá de los que no nos dejarán nada. Esta es la prueba evidente de que dos almas no se encuentran por casualidad ” Jorge Luis Borges

Congratulations, and thanks for share some of magic in this world! <3

Awesome - I was waiting for that to show up. Upvoted, reblogged and shared on the VAG Twitter account.

Thanks Otto!

Hey Otto, are you doing any NFTs?

Hi Rick, I am thinking about it - maybe I missed the boat already. Would be a new trick to learn for an old dog.

IDK how you are doing this stuff... but its awesome!
