Welcome cosmos lovers, today is a historic and memorable day for this generation, 2020 let's admit it, has been a shitty year, but something great leaves us right in its last days.
Jupiter and Saturn, the two gas giants of our planetary system come together today in the night sky as one big beautiful bright light that can be seen from anywhere in the world (if the clouds and light pollution allow). Therefore, I could not miss this event to inspire some surrealistic art and immortalize this day in the blockchain.

-Step 1:
As usual, I started sketching the idea, a friend gave me a picture of her to capture the main character, from there I added the other crazy things.

In three different layers, fill in the shape of the character, the mask and the other for the gradient and the background color palette. Based on these color tones, I started the detailing of the illustration, focusing on the clouds in the background and the girl's face.

-Step 3:
You can see that I have turned the background, this I have done since the illumination of the character and the clouds do not coincide, in the end this was not necessary since the planets occupy all the space, but I was working on the way. With a soft brush, I defined the skin of the face, painting on the lines of the outline.
-Step 4:
Finally the planets and surrealism arrive, the butterflies that come out of the ear are very pretty, but I liked very much the smoke of the smoking tendril, I got a little bit of third dimension effect by refusing to make the smoke semi-transparent and the truth goes very well with the whole theme of the illustration. I have put the lights on Jupiter, Saturn, the white clouds and the necklace using the "screen" and "dodge color" fusion modes without affecting the girl's skin too much, I could say that this illustration was a squeeze and let me tell you that it worked beautifully.

Yes, it all depends on your skills and the time you spend improving the shapes of each element
sounds like a blast, I'm sure non tech wise so I have no VR but couldn't manage the desktop 2d version, still it is nice to see so many people gathered
