Saludos! Con motivo de fin de año hice mi propio calendario ilustrado, no disponía de muchos materiales pero quería hacerlo de forma tradicional no en digital, por eso utilicé unas tintas para impresora que tenía guardadas hace mucho tiempo, aplicándolas con pincel y agua se obtienen efectos muy interesantes parecidos a la tinta china o la acuarela. Comienzo esta serie de publicaciones con el mes de enero y conforme vaya publicando los meses siguientes los que me lean pueden ir guardando las imágenes y disfrutar del calendario completo este 2021. Espero les guste y aquí les comparto el proceso.

On the occasion of the end of the year I made my own illustrated calendar, I did not have many materials but I wanted to do it in a traditional way not in digital, so I used some printer inks that I had saved for a long time, applying them with a brush and water gives very good effects interesting similar to Chinese ink or watercolor. I begin this series of publications with the month of January and as I publish the following months those who read me can save the images and enjoy the full calendar this 2021. Para comenzar hice un boceto a lápiz Hb, el mes de enero es uno de los meses fríos para los que están el hemisferio norte, pero también las personas que estamos en el trópico como en mis país podemos ver como las mañanas de enero son más oscuras, el sol sale más tarde que de costumbre y siempre hay viento frío. Por eso quise dibujar un búho con una bufanda posado sobre un árbol en clima invernal. Una vez realizado el boceto, utilizando las tintas de impresora me dispuse a pintarlo, las tintas son de los colores básicos cian, magenta y amarillo, por ello todos los demás colores son producto de la mezcla y de la superposición de capas de colores. Comencé haciendo el fondo con cian, variando la tonalidad del color con agua.
To begin, I made a sketch with Hb pencil, the month of January is one of the cold months for those who are in the northern hemisphere, but also people who are in the tropics and in my country can see how January mornings are darker , the sun rises later than usual and there is always a cold wind. So I wanted to draw an owl with a scarf perched on a tree in winter weather. Once the sketch was made, using printer inks I started to paint it, the inks are of the basic colors cyan, magenta and yellow, therefore all the other colors are the product of mixing and superimposing layers of colors. I started making the background with cyan, varying the hue of the color with water.
Una vez pintado el fondo, procedí a pintar con amarillo el árbol, dejando los brillos en blanco.
Once the background was painted, I proceeded to paint the tree yellow, leaving the highlights blank.
También apliqué tinta amarilla para el cuerpo del búho a excepción de la bufanda, dejando los espacios de los brillos en blanco.
I also applied yellow ink to the body of the owl except for the scarf, leaving the spaces for the glitters blank.
Con la base inicial de amarillo, procedí a aplicar el color magenta sobre el tronco del árbol.
With the initial base of yellow, I proceeded to apply the magenta color on the trunk of the tree.
Procedí a aplicar el color magenta sobre el amarillo del cuerpo del búho, primero en el rostro y después en el resto del plumaje.
I proceeded to apply the magenta color on the yellow of the owl's body, first on the face and then on the rest of the plumage.
Apliqué un poco de amarillo en ciertas zonas de la bufanda y posteriormente apliqué el color cian en todas las zonas del dibujo que requerían oscuridad, al mezclar los tres colores se consigue marrón y también un negro no puro que sirve para las sombras.
I applied a little yellow in certain areas of the scarf and later I applied the cyan color in all the areas of the drawing that required darkness, when mixing the three colors you get brown and also a non-pure black that is used for the shadows.
Pinté las letras del mes y las iníciales de los días de la semana con color magenta, al tener de base el azul de fondo obtuve un color purpura.
I painted the letters of the month and the initials of the days of the week with a magenta color, having a blue background as a base I obtained a purple color.
Pinté los días del mes con color cian puro.
I painted the days of the month with pure cyan color.
Hice el delineado y todos los detalles con bolígrafo color negro, también hice algunas pequeñas luces con acuarela blanca.
I did the outline and all the details with a black pen, I also made some small lights with white watercolor.

para hacerlo con pinturas te quedo muy bien me gusta que le colocaras ese color amarillo para que resalte mas el dibujo y no se quede simple se ve muy bonito el resultado final
