Hello everyone, today I want to share with you a digital illustration of a female portrait in a semi-realistic style. The most rewarding part of this process was the construction of the character, and what I enjoyed the most was the expression on her face.
To start in this work, I relied on a reference found on Pinterest, which was the main thing to capture the vision I had in mind of the drawing. Next, I will show you several images of the progress of the illustration.
Hola a todos, el dia de hoy les quiero compartir con ustedes una ilustracion digital de un retrato femenino al estilo semirrealista. Lo más gratificante de este proceso fue la construcción del personaje, y lo que más disfruté fue la expresión en su rostro.
Para empezar en esta obra, me apoyé en una referencia encontrada en Pinterest, la cual fue lo principal para plasmar la visión que tenía en mente del dibujo. A continuación, les mostraré una varias imágenes del progreso de la ilustración.
Process
I began the process with an initial sketch, in which I defined the proportions and structured the base of the character with certain strokes. Next, I advanced with the application of color, carefully selecting the palette and then applying the shadows.
