Many times I come to moments of blockage, in which no original idea arises or the desire to make a laborious and slow process, the only thing I want to draw or that comes naturally to me are faces, between lines of ink and watercolors. This is a way that I find to relax and practice the techniques without feeling pressured or forced to generate perfect arts.

So I take very few materials, a brush with black ink, my small palette of watercolors and waterproof paper. I start with the face, but my favorite and most relaxing part is the hair, drawing curved lines over and over again as if sculpting through lines, to finish the colors come. This process can take between 20 to 30 minutes per drawing.
