Irene is one of the wizards in the anime, Fairy Tail. She is an overpowered enchantress and a villain who turned into an ally later on. She turned into an ally after the battle with her daughter, Erza. I was surprised to see her back story. Would you believe that she's a 400-year old woman? Well, nothing is impossible in the anime world. She started to have such vitality when her body turned into a dragon centuries ago.
This is the third drawing I've done to dedicate to one of my friends. This friend of mine is a fan of Irene because he likes her abilities as well as her menacing smile. This made me enjoy drawing her even if I'm not her fan because I love anime smirk a lot. I personally find this drawing one of the most difficult among the artworks I've done because it has a lot of details that it covered most of the background yet the final result is so satisfying.

As a powerful wizard, one of her overpowered abilities is World Reconstruction Magic. With this ability, she can manipulate the geography of a land. She can compress a land to five percent or less of its size, therefore altering the entire land. In effect, this ability can move people or structures to different locations. She can also alter atmosphere and climates. Another ability that involves a land is her Eye Magic. This ability allows her to view an area remotely by summoning a giant eye over the area she wants to see.
Being a high level enchantress, Irene can enchant her target into a monstrous form that incredibly increases all their basic abilities. This ability is called Berserker. Another enchantment she can do is Concept Enchantment. This ability allows her to forge different attributes with other techniques or people. Irene can also perform Separation Enchantment, which gives her the ability to separate magic or enchantments from someone. Being transformed into a dragon centuries ago, she gained dragon abilities so she can change into dragon form and revert back to her human form as well. In her dragon form, she gains immense magical powers, flight, enhanced durability, agility, and senses. She can also gain Master Enchantment in her dragon form, which allows her to increase the power of her enchantments to a level that is beyond or no human can cast.
Irene is a terrifying enemy with such overpowered abilities. The protagonists really had a hard time with her when she used to be a villain. It's a good thing that she became an ally later on and she was able to reconcile with her daughter. Fairy tail is one of the series I'm still rooting. I'm still reading the continuation, Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest. It's still in Manga and I haven't heard of news or plans about its anime adaptation. She occasionally appears there to guide the protagonists so they can use their powers more effectively in battles. Having her for an ally is really helpful. She also loves trolling people randomly with the menacing face I love, which adds fun to the story. Her trolling is also her way to outwit some opponents. As a mother, I'm looking forward to seeing her find out her Erza's (her daughter) romantic feelings towards her childhood friend, Jellal, and I want to see her troll both of them. I can imagine how hilarious it will be.

Since my friend is accessible and able to go for a meet up, I'm still keeping this drawing until I can personally give it to him. We plan to meet tentatively this year since the pandemic is nearly over and it's safe to meet at the mall. We'll plan the details of our meet up when we're not busy. I'm excited to give this dedication to my friend.
