Stand up colors 1
I am going to explain part of my process ...
In my country at the moment we are living a lot of shortages of food, medicine, electricity, water, etc.. When we talk about artistic materials it is the same story and if you are lucky to find them they are so expensive that you think twice before buying them. For this reason every time I have the opportunity to paint, I enjoy it to the fullest, but in the end there is always some paint left over on the palette, which can not be wasted.
That leftover gives me the freedom to create with scarcity, to create without thinking about the final output, that creation feels free and without expectations. I feel that by removing the expectation and having that limited amount of colors, the result ends up being more tempting, more open to be accepted.
I hope you enjoy this collection of my artwork called "colors".

Colores de pie 1
Les voy a explicar parte de mi ...
En mi pais en estos momentos estamos viviendo mucha escaces de alimentos, medicina, luz, agua, etc. Cuando hablamos de materiales artisticos también y si los encuantras son tan costosos que piensas dos veces antes de comprarlos. Por esta razón cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de pintar lo disfruto al maximo, pero al final siempre queda un restante de pintura en la paleta, que no se puede desperdiciar.
Ese restante me da la libertad de crear con escases, de crear sin pensar en el resultado final, esa creación la siento libre y sin espectativas. Siento que al quitarle la expectativa y tener esa cantidad limitada de colores, que el resultado termina siendo mas tentador, mas abierto a ser aceptado.
Espero que disfruten esta collección de mis obras de arte llamada “colores”
Y aveces cuando hay menos, recibimos más.

You don't say what type of color. I paint with acrylics, and I also hate to waste left over color. I have some paintings set aside where I use left over colors for glazing backgrounds. If much is left over, I store it in those little plastic film roll containers (the ones used for analog film). Experimental applications are fun. I could see this being combined with collage.
Yess collage ! ! The ones that i dont like, i use it for background colors on abstract collages, but I enjoy sureal collage more, or I try later to use them on my gelly plate, for monoprint. I try to use until the last drop of my paintings. Jejeje !!
Ohh and great idea of the film roll, i have those little plastic baby tuperware that are air tight, and they work super good keeping the acrylics moist. Thankyou !
