Esta ilustración, es un tanto rara, ya que no suelo hacer paisajes, es algo nuevo que necesito explorar y apropiar. Se supone que son 2 chicas que pasean por la plaza cerca de la playa y quieren bajar una pelota de un árbol.
This illustration is a bit strange, since I don't usually do landscapes, it's something new that I need to explore and appropriate. They are supposed to be 2 girls who are walking through the square near the beach and want to get a ball down from a tree.
Lo hice en mi cuaderno de bocetos para practicar la integración de personajes a un fondo, dibujar objetos y experimentar mi habilidad en algo más completo, o al menos ese es el plan.
I did it in my sketchbook to practice integrating characters into a background, draw objects, and experience my skill in something more complete, or at least that's the plan.
Ya había intentado dibujar fondos, pero parece algo tan inalcanzable a veces, no suelo sentir que lo que imagino me cuente plasmarlo, hasta que me topé con este reto, obviamente he dibujado paisajes, solo que jamás quedo conforme.
I had already tried to draw backgrounds, but it seems so unattainable sometimes, I don't usually feel that what I imagine tells me to capture it, until I came across this challenge, obviously I've drawn landscapes, only I'm never satisfied.
Los termino borrando, o paran a la basura o incluso los rompo, creo que soy “exigente” pero claramente no seré igual de buena en algo “nuevo”
I end up deleting them, or they end up in the trash or even break them, I think I'm "demanding" but clearly I won't be as good at something "new"
Mi técnica es muy simple, hago un garabato medianamente decente de algo y luego lo escaneo, de ahí uso Ps para darle color y la verdad es que a veces no parece el mismo dibujo, la diferencia entre el inicio y el final es descomunal, fue ahí donde me di cuenta que debería de “perdonar” dibujos o garabatos hechos a mano, porque en digital pueden ser muy hermosos con solo darle color, el resultado es lo que verdaderamente pueden llegar a ser esos dibujos.
My technique is very simple, I make a fairly decent doodle of something and then I scan it, from there I use Ps to color it and the truth is that sometimes it doesn't seem the same drawing, the difference between the beginning and the end is huge, it was That's where I realized that I should "forgive" drawings or doodles made by hand, because in digital they can be very beautiful just by giving them color, the result is what those drawings can truly become.
Y si, extraño la playa, jugar en la playa con amigos, usar ese traje de baño bonito, andar en bici, extraño muchas cosas, ese es el potenciador para dibujar entornos, donde me gustaría estar o hacer.
And yes, I miss the beach, playing on the beach with friends, wearing that nice swimsuit, riding a bike, I miss many things, that is the enhancer to draw environments, where I would like to be or do.
