Haha, no, no trolling, but it actually doesn't take THAT long. There are powerful and sophisticated tools for distributing objects with a lot of control in my 3D application. There's only 3 foliage models and 2 tree models in this scene. Then there's 2 different meshes for the ground and one for the water for a total of only 7 different models. Then they're instanced tens of thousands of times which adds the complexity.

Ah, the wonders of modern technology. Nevertheless, that's quite the end result, all done with only a few resources to go along with.
