That was after. The texture is already applied there. I almost never actually follow the tutorial. For content like this, I already understand the foundational knowledge of compositing, and I'm mostly just looking for "How do I do x IN FUSION"

So mostly I already go into the tutorial wanting to know something specific, and I skip through or watch at 2x speed until I get to that thing. Usually take notes because it's a bunch of settings and they're hard to remember usually.

Then I try to make simple stuff referencing my notes, to get more familiar with everything and run into new questions that need to be answered. That's my general approach. For something where I'm totally clueless, like at one point I decided I wanted to learn Houdini, I will follow tutorials because I don't even know what I need to know, so in those situations I think that's the best way to go about it.

I was gonna say damn you hardcore and then I realised that I do similar things (except the notes are in my blog so I don't lose them) but I don't see me as hardcore and now I'm so confused XD
