RE: Watermelon Slices

  1. As I've said, I don't think this is nsfw and since that's clearly not landing I'll try to be more specific.

Super mainstream YT makes a distinction between artistic nudity and just about all websites that revolve around user generated creative content all are similar in this regard.

nsfw needs to be reserved for what I would umbrella under "adult content" sexually suggestive or erotic content. Nudity in and of itself is not erotic or sexually suggestive.

  1. As the admin of OCA, the things I do end up becoming precedent and this is a terrible precedent to set for an art community.

  2. If you want people to actually see your content, it's much less likely they will if it's hidden behind even a single click. Now of course if I thought the content was nsfw I would, but I honestly don't so the only reason I would even consider it is because you asked me to, which is not a reason for me to do something I disagree with. Although I did change the thumbnails a a show of good faith, but at the end of the day, I just simply disagree with you.

May also be worth noting, this is on the front page of Makersplace and has been since I posted it, as was the last piece that also featured artistic nudity.

From a conversation I had w @rootdraws, it would seem that they do not feature nsfw content on the main pages, but I don't know that for sure, it's anecdotal.

I totally understand what you were saying a lot better now.

Cryptovoxels is conservative as well.

if you have a show where you are showing off artistic nudes, don't @cryptovoxels on twitter.

They are trying to sell to apple, and don't want to be perceived as a 'boys locker room'.

I personally wish that Makersplace would revisit these things, and that superrare would come out with their NSFW option, and that opensea would come out with their NSFW Classification --

Rarible has a NSFW flag / section, but it's unclear how to access it.

BAE supposedly is clear for NSFW art.

And then you've got Memefactory.io and NFTShowroom, that have checkbox style options.

Knownorigin is also conservative.

.:.

But I see people like yourself, and kittyshebast, and katyarrington and reinhart -- and a few others doing nudity and pin-up work, as well as some weird implied sexuality in that abstract bosch sense.

And then the onlyfans women are moving on Rarible.

The game is afoot.
