Lion Hustler 🦁
Artist Talent Level - Great
This is my fifth entry into the CYOA- Artist Category in the Zealy campaign. I have tried my best to produce yet another intuitive art, and this time the theme is "a Lion engaging in stereotypical hustling activities and attire.".
This is relatively a difficult task with a unique theme that encapsulates hustle culture. Grind hard to rise high!
Concept
In this drawing, you can clearly see a cap the Lion is wearing with the Zealy logo, a chain with a locket, and that locket is engraved with the Leofinance logo, and a backpack the Lion is keeping. The theme of this task is stereotypical hustling activities and attire.
The whole concept is to enable a Lion into a hustling job that is time-bound, and goal-oriented. A Lion may be the king of the Jungle, and the Lion may have a strong dominion but even for such a powerful kingship, one has to put effort and that must be deliverable in time bound manner.
If we draw an analogy with Leofinance, the Lions have to adapt to the fast-paced environment of threading. The sophistication must converge with the time available to ensure a result-oriented outcome. The power we have or the qualities we have alone may not work, we get to know the true relevance when it is factored with time and a particular environment.
The Lion is characterized by a strong physique, power, and strength of domination, yet he has to grind hard in today's fast-paced environment. The Lion is rebranding self-sufficiency by grinding hard day in and day out-- the hustle culture.
A Lion is distinguished by courage, yet it does not hesitate to adapt in a period of change. The hustle culture demonstrates the period of change to Web 3 and to maintain the status quo even a Lion has to grind hard to sustain its territory and existence.
The backpack the Lion carries is a symbol of adventurism and it is a mixed bag of every type of activity in hustling culture. The Zealy logo and the locket demonstrate passive promotion of the product while hustling hard to achieve the desired goal.
Process
This was a bit difficult to sketch as compared to other tasks. Time intensive as well. The shading part of the attire is tricky and requires patience to create an artistic effect. The locket engraved with Leofinance is also very nuanced and drawing such a small one is also a tedious job.
I always start with eyes and nose in my drawing, as this one is a Lion, mane is always the most important aspect of the drawing. I did not do much shading in the mane, just tried to keep it simple.
I placed a cap on the Lion's head and the Lion wearing a locket is a kind of fashionable thing for a fantastic, romantic Lion. The backpack demonstrates the full package of Leofinance as a whole. And that's the hustle.
In the end, I had to finish the art with proper shading, toning, and highlighting wherever necessary to make it look more real and three-dimensional.
I tried my best to make it at least an OKAY type art, I am in the process of learning, and in this ongoing quest, I will try to improve as I proceed to the next task.
