Hello! In this post I want to show my newest art and a little of process of my work. Here is the result:

First of all, I search for some references of the main object that I want to use. I used this one:

Then I start modeling it. I use blender since my 14 years old, and I love it! Here goes the main model.

After the floor lamp is done, I begin testing some background for it. So, I place the camera the way I want the render to be done (many ajustments are done after) and start modeling some shapes to see how it goes. At this moment it is full experimental. At the time I get something that I like, I start putting some lights to see how it looks.

Then, it is time to add some shaders and textures. I like clay renders, so in most of the objects I leave it colored in a ton near to white and add some glossyness to get a cool reflex.

I add some textures as well, but not the albedo, I do it in the roughness and normals to get some bumps and to map the reflex of the objects.

In this moment it is all about testing and testing and so on, changing and changing to get a result that pleased myself. After, it is rendering time! Cycles used to be a medium renderer in blender 2.8. But in 2.9 I find it really good. The denoising is a feature that effort a great job right now! This is how it looks before I finish it in photoshop.

(I rendered the floor in another layer because I didn't like the way that the environment affected the normal map).

After some colour corrections, ajustments, curves, brightness and contrast the job is done! It takes about 10 hours to finish the hole process. I find it good, but it took me too many years to be able to do in this range of time. Backwards it was common to take about 2 or 3 days.

Hope you like it! Let me know any questions and feedbacks you might have!
Thank you,
