Decided to do a still life painting today. It has been a really long time since I did one. Have been painting landscapes most of the time.
This one is based on a beautiful oil painting by Pieter Johannes Alexander Wagemans
Process:
Started painting background and the cloth .. mostly shadows first thi time.
Lace work next.. just hurried over it .. could have done better taking some more time.
The leaves and the base for vase next.
Finished with design on pot.
Felt to put one more layer on background to make it darker.
Final:
Total time: 90 min
