It's just 4 days but I feel I haven't painted for months. I painted a beautiful Bougainville pot on Sunday and then the one before that was two days before that.. a Bougainville .. that started as a scribble and then I still don't count it as a painting.

I had to paint today and I didn't know what to.so I took this small 9x12 block of Waterford cold press paper and started searching for subjects online. After an hour I found one i thought I can paint. It was a lone Impala in orange light. So that was today's motivation.

But then my ideas ran wild while I painted and finally this was the result.

I didn't have any sketches this time. That's not how I planned to work this year. But today is a off case.. need to break that painting barrier. So l can forgive myself for being lazy here.

This is WOW!

Thank you 😊

Beautiful art, like always! You have a touch with creating an aesthetic "feeling" of isolation but one that does not scream "being alone". What I mean, you create an artwork that makes me feel "together" with the isolation we can sometimes feel. Like this painting: It feels like I am stealing a special moment with these impalas. I am from a region where there are a lot of them around (like on golf courses) and it is always amazing to stand alone underneath the trees to look at them. Stunning artwork, my friend!

Thank you so much... One of my friend too pointed out similar thing in my paintings.. about solitude..
It's just that I love to keep things minimum and may be laziness to add more elements 😂

Well, my friend, if it works it works 😉 How would we say: "Productive laziness" or something like that.

I like the details you added to the painting, different from the reference image. It's a beautiful watercolor landscape with a very creative touch.
