Last two days were terrible for painting to me. Messing up simple paintings were so frustrating.
Today also I tried painting simple sky and messed up. Something wasn't right. But I had made a sketch for this cows painting and I wanted to finish it off.
The first brush of paint dripped over the paper and flowed till bottom of sheet . Pthalo blue, it's staining pigment can't remove it. You can see it in the paper even in the final painting
To add to the mess th drop ended up in my palette where I had my Opera pink. It's so messed up now.. I can't really get that pure pink.. it will come out lavender!
So that made me think again about going on with it.. but slowly it came up good.. not as expected
Certainly the day was bad .. on another day it could have come a lot better.
Oh I missed to add about the Swarm of mosquitoes too .. I killed about 25 while painting this

Yes. It's raining heavy here.
Monsoon has started late this year. Normally it rains right from 1st of June.. this time it's almost a month late and hasn't rained well as it used to.
It's always humid here in Kerala.. and I'm using 440 gsm these days so paper takes a lot of time to dry .. sometimes it's good .. need to be very patient 😁
