when I was a child I was never very good at drawing, however I was very relaxed to trace different types of images, over the years the technology made it much easier for us to work, and the day the tablet appeared I could return to "trace". With time the hours of hobby have been turning into a job that is increasingly worthy of a designer, the first thing I tried to draw were cartoon characters and although I have some of which I am proud, mine is more the lettering ... something that I realized after a couple of years of drawing.
The first sticker I made was a horrible cat that is still stuck in a part of the room, in love with the series "happy three friends" I made a character called "Bunny Bong" with which after the reception it had I made a brand of clothing. As part of the clothing brand we took out many stickers which were pasted on the street as a way to advertise this brand of street wear. This led to a partnership with Santiago Adhesivo, together with them we made several outings to fill public spaces, which gave us the opportunity to be part of some art exhibitions where we filled a car completely with stickers, something like yayoi kusama a couple of years before her appearance.

the years passed and copyright issues could not occupy more the image of bunny bong, I was destined to go back and continue with the idea of the cat, while I dedicated myself to do freelance work of logo design and lettering for different projects. it was in these times where the question of whether all this was vandalism or art began ... the reception in the street when one sticks a sticker is almost always positive, usually one ends up giving a couple to the people who observe you, but like everything else there are also people who find you a vandal and even attack you physically for the mere fact of sticking something. Rather than stay stuck with the "problem" and remembering that in my past I had given the sticker an artistic aspect, I got down to work and started making stickers of all cartoon designs, skate brands, music, weed, etc.. and I mounted them on a frame of which I made only 10, these were to paste in the street and before the obvious possibility of theft, I went to the hardware store to buy extra strong and fast cement for the mission, as expected after a couple of days all were stolen (it is street art, I did not expect anything else), today I fill private spaces of people who consider the stikers a form of art.
so are the stickers art or vandalism ?
well it depends on two big factors , one the love and dedication that the artist gives , trying to innovate and show something in the least shocking way possible and the other one the love and dedication that the artist gives to it , trying to innovate and show something in the least shocking way possible and the other one
