Well, that IS the advantage of creating your fictional world from scratch, right? No pesky laws of physics or hard-wired aspects of human nature to get in your way... 😁

But to be fair, most of the time we aren't making up the rules (that's the game makers' and to an extent the Dungeon Master's prerogative), but rather living in the rules framework already created. Now there IS a subset of gamers who delight and excel in memorizing the rules and using combinations of said rules in such a way to either max out their characters' power & abilities beyond what the game normally intends or gain some other in-game advantage that technically fits the letter of the rules but violates the spirit of them. It's forgivable in small doses, but when taken to extremes it takes the fun out of the game.
