... today i have a great post about a graffiti portrait tutorial i painted two days ago. Its a portrait of my little lovely sister and i like how it came out. Still find some parts i can do better next time but for a privat "just for fun" wall is the result pretty cool.
I have a lot of pictures again. Lets just start with it.
Very nice and sunny days in berlin at the moment.
...Also good for the paint to try faster :P
Lets start with a grid.
Make a photo of the grid and put your reference on the top. Turn down the opacity a little bit so you can see all the lines and your grid.
Thats what i want to paint :)
With this reference on your phone or print you can exactly see where to paint what line.
Lets do this. First lines.
Great!
Now we dont need the grid anymore and paint over it.
Lets start with some "colors". This time just grey tones.
Paint what you see on your reference. Take your time and go step by step.
Lets start with the details. (Eyes, lips and nose and stuff...)
No hurry, no stress, you have millions attempts and can always paint over and over with spray cans...
More into the details.
I had a lot of fun painting this and try something i dont do that often.

From dark to light.
Maybe i painted them to white but i really had a hard time :P ...thats something i will work on this summer!
Lets paint the shirt real quick.
A little bit softer.
Nice, i like it.
I was faster than i thought so i just started a style next to it.
Simple fill in and back to black outlines. Long time ago i painted black outlines :D
3D Block and a shadow in the back.

I gave my little sister a neon heart <3
I dont know why but most time i like it pretty simple in the background and finished here because it looked good for me.
