LAYERS BEFORE THE DETAILING OF HYPERREALISM IN PORTRAIT DRAWING

In every HYPERREALISM art, there are layers that had been covered to achieve the result. The first layer is the outlining layer, then to the detail outline and then to rhyming it all together. Giving it a background shade and then to tone and tint the right places to give it a 3D look appearance. After this whole thing is done and well blended with a brush, the portrait sketch is ready for continuous detailings. And these are basically done with sharp charcoal or graphite pencils, tombow erasers, kneaded eraser, blending stumps or what ever that’s suitable for the artist working on it. This piece is one I’m taking my time on to give a full HYPERREALISM look…..
