Welcome back to today's collection of OCA's favorites. There aren't any new community announcements so this one should be pretty quick. This post again is a collab between me(@midlet) and @jotakrevs doing the commentary on the art.

Without further ado, let's get to it!

We love arts, all kind of them so how not feel amazed by this awesome painting by @spintwister? In this masterpiece, we can see a very tasteful mixture of the best from several painting traditions. if you ever wondered how would be when eastern and western cultures meet each other, this is the artwork to look at!

Portraits full of life, that's what @erangvee does, and does it very well! In this artwork of the cheeky girl, is impossible to don't feel amazed looking at her hands. Maybe is a subjective opinion of who is writing this comment, but this author has a special gift when is about to paint hands. What do you think about?

What be can say about @barbarbezina artworks? She is just amazing! Look at her paintings is like to come back to these eerie places deep inside us, these places that we forgot about. Look at this blue painting... don't you feel drowning in the deep sea of your subconscious? We are for sure.

As a big lover of abstract and surrealist art, is impossible to don't feel in love with this art work from @medussart. Knowledge is power, knowledge is the hub of everything what existed, exist and will exist... knowledge can be scary, as well. What is lying in the deepest of our minds? And in the highest stance of the existence itself? Dive deep in this wonderful illustration and enjoy the trip!

Lastly we have @brataka with a lovely black and white portrait with a splash of color in the background. They share their entire process in their post so we can all see how the magic happens.

That'll about wrap things up for today. Hope you like, and be sure to like and reblog this post on Twitter. One quick thing that I'll probably repeat a million times in these posts, as you all are sharing your work from Hive to Twitter, try to remember to use the #onchainart hashtag as I think this is something we can leverage to ultimately get people back to the community. See you all in the next post!

thank you so much once again!🧡 my heart is full reading your words. (also, funny you mentioned the hand -- i always had trouble doing them, so it's great that it seems i'm improving in that regard.🥺) congratulations, too, to fellow artists mentioned in this feature! it's always a treat going through this community's artworks. 🧡

We are happy to read your happy comment, and enjoy your artworks as well! To draw hands is not easy, but hey you are doing it pretty well... is impossible to forget some of the hands you drew, like in that post of a girl sinking in the water, where the main subject are her hands in a very poetical posture. Keep the good work!

Thanks to you for share your artworks with us!

Thanks for the mention AND for those words! I'm quite surprised by the comments because you really see what is in my works and un me. It's very nice to know that some see, visit or can recognize those places. Thank you @midlet and @jotakrevs 💜💜

That's the magic of the arts! Every one can see different things on an artwork, as it pulls out many things that are buried in the deepest of ourselves. But in your case, is even better. You have the talent to pull out many things that are common to all of us, and that's not easy to achieve when is about artworks with a very subjective interpretation of them. Amazing artworks!

Saludos!

Jaja eres de los míos pues. Teniendo en cuenta que a la gente se la indoctrina en vez de educarla, algunos como nosotros tenemos suerte en seguir conservando cierta sensibiladad e intuicion. Saludos! (:

Conservando y cultivando!

everyone did a very good job.

eastern and western cultures meet each other,

yeah that's is the point l find in @spintwister painting

Thank you soo much for featuring my artwork. It mean so much to me ❤️
