Musiconaut found a new friend. Literaricus is so old that he could be his father, but they share the same passions - culture and high arts.
Musiconaut hat einen neuen Freund gefunden. Literaricus ist so alt, dass er sein Vater sein könnte, aber sie teilen dieselben Leidenschaften - Kultur und die hohen Künste.
This time I started painting the eyes, which I usually don´t do. But this time they should be the center of attention along with few other objects. Then I created the head with modelling clay. The beard is made of the same healing wool I used for the Musiconaut´s waves. At last I moulded the body.
Diesmal habe ich angefangen, die Augen zu bemalen. Das mache ich normalerweise nicht, aber jetzt sollten sie zusammen mit ein paar wenigen anderen Objekten im Mittelpunkt stehen. Dann habe ich den Kopf mit geknetet. Der Bart besteht aus der gleichen Heilwolle, die ich für die Wellen des Musiconaut verwendet habe. Am Ende habe ich den Körper geformt.

The whole scene was set up with old books from my grandpa. Can you recognize one? It´s not so easy, but at least three famous books are in use.
Die ganze Szene habe ich mit alten Büchern von meinem Opa aufgebaut. Könnt ihr eins davon erkennen? Es ist nicht so einfach, aber mindestens drei berühmte Bücher finden hier Verwendung.

This is so cool as it looks almost digitally created! I like it! The clay you use is modelling simple clay? The one which air dries? Or you use fimo style?
Thank you 💙 Isn´t it strange nowadays, that it´s a compliment to "look digitally created", if something is handcraftet? Yes, it´s a total simple type of clay that dries. But sometimes I also use modelling dough that stays soft (but falls apart after years):

You're so welcome! I clicked on the link, wow... You're good!! I have got Pan's labyrinth vibes after seeing the pictures. You inspire me to try it out for myself, it is like the next top level of art, drawing, imagination and digitalesque vibes meeting altogether.
You do have a point with handcraft vs digital. We should appreciate handmade stuff so much more as your work is proof that we can create surreal fantasy universes beyond the screen. Looking forward to see more of your creations!
