Ah speculative evolution...something yhat we see in movies all around us, but onky popular since the last 100 years or so. Even if I knew what is was, I only hear a dedication about it a few days ago.
I thing I like is that is we take these, If we pretend that they would be chickens and a worm, we would not be a able to say if they are from the past or the future. One thong is for sure , a whole story about ot could be written.
I did the basic sketch using a 4H pencil to add more details after using darker ones. Once the drawing was done, I added some watercolors to finish it up.

If worms could fly then birds would be able to grab in flight snacks. It would be very convenient.

I started to think about my answer and realized that if worms could fly, they would probably grow 80 feet long, develope scale and pointy tales and are likely to start spitting fire while nurturing an unhealthy lust for gold.
The only thing that could kill such a beast would be a chivalrous knight clad in gleaming armor and mounted on a gallant steed while wielding and enchanted blade.
Flying creatures that spit fire would spell doom for the current generation as chivalry is dead.
