Today I wanted to change the routine from digital to manual, I want to see that you find this little work that I do recently for a subject of the university called artisanal, as its name says is a matter in which we are taught and put in practice different types of manual arts, in which we develop our creativity by putting design in our style and giving it a modern touch.
Hoy quería cambiar la rutina de digital a manual, quiero ver que les parece este pequeño trabajo que hice recientemente para una materia de la universidad llamada artesanal, como su nombre dice es una materia en la que se nos enseñan y ponemos en práctica diferentes tipos de artes manuales, en las que desarrollamos nuestra creatividad poniendo el diseño a nuestro estilo y dándole un toque moderno.
This time the activity was to do a carving in a tapara What is a tapara? also known as totuma is a fruit of the totumo tree of an oval or circular shape, usually used by the peoples originating in Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela and Panama generally use it as a kitchen implement. It is used to contain liquids and solids, drink water and other applications.
En esta ocasión la actividad fue hacer un tallado en una tapara ¿Qué es una tapara? también conocido como totuma es un fruto del árbol totumo de una forma ovalada o circular, generalmente utilizado por los pueblos originarios de Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela y Panamá generalmente lo utilizan como un implemento de cocina. Se utiliza para contener líquidos y sólidos, beber agua y otras aplicaciones.
The activity was based on doing something that represented us I decided to make an illustration because I think that everyone has their style that represents it, before doing the whole carving process you have to extract the contents that bring the lid on the inside cutting in two parts or by one end as I did, I wanted to do it that way so that it had the function of a glass.
After taking out the content the first thing I did was draw gently without marking much with any pencil the illustration I wanted to make.
La actividad se basaba en hacer algo que nos representara, decidí hacer una ilustración porque creo que cada uno tiene su estilo que lo representa, antes de hacer todo el proceso de tallado hay que extraer el contenido que lleva la tapa en el interior cortando en dos partes o por un extremo como lo hice yo, quería hacerlo de esa manera para que tuviera la función de un vaso.
- Después de sacar el contenido lo primero que hice fue dibujar suavemente sin marcar mucho con un lápiz cualquiera la ilustración que quería hacer.
From these lines I began to mark with tools that are used to carve, taking great care not to damage the design, removing the surface of the lid leaving the lines thicker and with depth.
- A partir de estas líneas comencé a marcar con unas herramientas que se utilizan para tallar, teniendo mucho cuidado de no dañar el diseño, quitando la superficie de la tapara dejando las líneas más gruesas y con profundidad.
I went doing this process little by little until I can get this result already with the lid completely dry, I put a glass with an original and striking design with which you can drink whatever you want to take to the beach or it can simply serve as decoration, the good thing about the taparas is that you can give it many uses you only need a little imagination and creativity.
- Fui haciendo este proceso poco a poco hasta que puede conseguir este resultado, ya con la tapa completamente seca, quedo un vaso con un diseño original y llamativo con el que se puede beber lo que quieras, llevar a la playa o simplemente puede servir como decoración, lo bueno de la tapa es que puedes darle muchos usos sólo necesitas un poco de imaginación y creatividad.
