Warm greetings to the community of artists and to all who read me. I would like to tell you that this work came about in the midst of an artistic blockage, since I am proposing to experiment with new materials and styles for my development, so I came across a beautiful photograph that I wanted to represent in my own style.
After sketching I started with the base colors, I used watercolor and cold paint
After I felt visually satisfied with the colors I set out to give more detail in the eye, lips and nose, respecting the contrast and points of light.

This is my favorite part, shading and detailing. I used my charcoal pencil for the dark spots and white pastel for the light ones
Finally very carefully with white paint I added the glows where appropriate, this includes eyes, iris details, eyebrows, lips, nose and skin
To be very honest I loved experiencing this mix of materials in a portrait, it was 4 very satisfying hours, happy afternoon I hope you enjoyed it.

I really liked your experiment since it combined different materials and techniques, so an artistic block turned it into a great work.
