Hoy les comparto la publicación más reciente de mi proyecto de ilustración URBANITO, en la que caracterizo al personaje homónimo como el cantante de dancehall y hip-hop jamaiquino SEAN PAUL, usando de referencia el look que usa en la portada de su álbum The Trinity. A continuación les muestro el proceso que seguí para dibujarlo.

Hello, Hive Community! Today I share with you the most recent publication of my illustration project URBANITO, in which I characterize the homonymous character as the Jamaican dancehall and hip-hop singer SEAN PAUL, using as a reference the look he wears on the cover of his album The Trinity. Below I show you the process I followed to draw him.
El primer paso fue dibujar un boceto con un lápiz 4H en un pedazo de papel.

The first step was to draw a sketch with a 4H pencil on a piece of paper.
Lo siguiente fue entintarlo, usando un marcador negro de punta fina.

The next thing was to ink it, using a fine tip black marker.
Por último, tomé la imagen anterior y le apliqué la opción Umbral de Photoshop CS6 para digitalizarla y separar el negro y blanco.

Finally, I took the above image and applied Photoshop CS6's Threshold option to digitize it and separate the black and white.
