Aww, poor dejected Golden Sphinx.

What do you think? Should they offer him a job? You know the adage... Keep your friends close but your stupid enemies in a nearby, low-paying job?

Hmm, it's a tough question.... no easy answer...

almost... like... a.... RIDDLE!

Badum-tssh!

Boilerplate:
JAVA JAGUAR is a webcomic based on the true story of a talking jaguar cub found in a coffee shop. Yes, I said based on the true story. Java Jaguar is produced by the nomadic cartoonist, Matt S. Law, on his mobile art studio consisting of Clip Studio Paint Pro on a Microsoft Surface Pro 7+.

Sort:

Golden Sphinx looks so lonely, love the thoughtful humor in this panel.

Not just lonely, but also unemployed in a strange land. Poor, little guy!

They say that "revenge is a dish best served cold".
These days, perhaps that should be amended to "revenge is hiring your defeated enemy into a low-wage job where he has to clean the coffee shop's toilets..." 😏

That right there is a slogan that can be put on a coffee mug!

It takes some nerve to ask for a job after trying to beat someone up. What's the worst task they could be given? I'm sure some toilets need cleaning, with a cotton bud.

!LOLZ

You forget, the Golden Sphinx has no idea who these two unmasked folks are in this coffee shop at 2:00 am... If he does recognize them, he recognizes them as two of those three very clever people that solved his riddle and defeated him in his own lair. 😄

Ah of course! They must still be tempted to be mean.

Well, Java was just born mean... we'll see how magnanimous Matt is feeling...
