All our production guys keep talking about that Mary Marvel/Supergirl battle versus a mud monster. I may have to draw that out one of these days. I don't think Supergirl is a public domain character though.... so.... meh. I'll just let you imagine the most epic mud brawl ever involving Mary Marvel and Supergirl. Also, the mud monster may have been imaginary.

And the mud monster was there, it wasn't anyone's imagination..
But Mr. Mud wasn't duM (mud spelled backwards, thanks Wyle E.), he created puppets / duplicates of himself to distract Mary and Ms. Girl. And after the two were good and wound up, he slinked back to his cave to take care of some wood.
Mud monsters are pretty wily...
