Greetings friends. My latest watercolor painting for start of this year. We visited beatiful place in Strandja mountain in Bulgaria. I had time to paint this days and I am happy with that. The village is called Mladeshko, and tge river is Mladeshka. It was a beautiful day yesterday with nice sunlight and reflections on the water the right moment to start a new watercolor. The trees are really interesting with many twisted forms and moss on that. I started painting whithout sketch. I wet the paper and started painting from the background and sky. Than I painted the water with her reflections from the trees. Than I painted the trees a d put some details, like little branches, shadows and rocks. This place makes me think of Hobbits.
It is a good joke, but I am sure you can paint everything you want. Yes, it reminds me of some magical place, who knows, some hobbit can appear... :)
