I can totally relate with what you are saying. But unfortunately 'world' isn't some sort of amalgamate that you can cut yourself off it. It is interconnected with all our cells, all our memories, and more often than not - very reason of our misfortunes. So sadly - eventually you have to go out from you lair, and face it.
