The thing about physical paintings is that they occupy physical space
Which is great; it's one of the last qualities that distinguishes them from digital ones. You can move them with your hands and place them onto walls - they occupy physical space. But that also means that it can be hard to keep track of them or being able to move them with you when you move.
Which brings me to this post. I found some older ones lying around in my room that should be no more (the house is being sold). So the question arises: should I keep them?
They are probably (most definitely) not masterworks, but they have personal meaning. But I don't really have that much space in my current apartment. And then again, I have just thrown away so many things from the past that were not important (throw all things away that you have not looked at for 2+ years is a general advice here, excluding important documents :).
In the end I decided to keep at least a digital copy... see for yourself:

My rule for keeping or tossing is "does it make me happy or sad?" I don't think I could get rid of any of those. I see you've always had a fascination with clouds.

Save your favorite paintings and take photos of the other ones before you let them go. Maybe you can sign them and give to relatives/friends who appreciate your artwork.
