¡Hola, esto es Waralwa!
Hi, I hope you are feeling great!
I wanted to draw this little monkey a long time ago. I was waiting for some context to come to mind so I could put it on paper. As a water-type monster, I rarely use it. That's because it's low level and somewhat weak. But, it helps me a lot when I'm struggling with low mana. That's when mono comes into play.

I thought of painting Endless Gibbon on the beach, jaja. This time he will become a surfing monkey, as if he had arrived on the new wave. Once I had the sketch, I began to ink his body and clothes.

Then, since it has color changes on its body, I added textures. And to maintain my style, Endless has a pair of eyebrows.

Surfers love waves, and so does this little monkey. With his surfboard in hand, he goes out every morning to practice and improve his technique. Although he can perform some tricks, he wants to have a greater connection with the sea and the wind. Maintaining his balance is an advantage for him, as he can hold on very well with his big paws.

Now it's time to bring the drawing to life, which means adding shadows. When it comes to this part, I start with the objects. This time, it's his clothes, which are in motion. Next is the surfboard, which is decorated with seashells. The seashells represent the traditional food of the local people. Since this drawing depicts a scene in motion, I drew lines to give the sea that movement. “The sea is alive,” say the people who live in the area around that place.

Monkey is furry, like many animals, and shIn the areas where there is only skin, I added thin lines as a kind of shadow. These areas are: the face, ears, hands, and feet. ows off his voluminous fur. To achieve this type of volume, I drew strands of hair evenly. In the areas where there is only skin, I added thin lines as a kind of shadow. These areas are: the face, ears, hands, and feet.

Even though the drawing has textures, I had in mind to color it from the start. I began with the background, that is, the sea. For this, I used blue and sky blue colors. I highlighted the lines of the wave's movement. Giving it the first coat of color, this is just a general outline, without too many details.

Broadening my perspective and following the movement of the wave, I realized that there were areas where the water was stronger and areas where it was weaker. That's where I increased the intensity of the color so that the drawing would capture those differences.

Once the background was finished, I moved on to the main character, the little monkey. He wears red clothes... maybe it's a surfer's uniform. The truth is that it is a color that contrasts with the sea. Endless is beige, cream colored.

Around its eyes and chest, it has a light sky blue color. The parts where it has no fur are black, that is, its skin. It also has enormous yellow eyes. By doing this, the color of the body faded to beige. So, I added another layer of color, this time with greater intensity, with an emphasis on the parts where there are shadows.

Esta ilustración me recuerda que con acciones cotidianas del día, hay quienes le ponen todas las ganas para seguir mejorando o aprender una habilidad nueva; ya sea un deporte, un idioma, un platillo de la zona, entre otros.
After taking the photograph, her eyes seemed strange to me. So I added thin shadows with ink. The surfboard is another important element in this composition. That's why I chose another contrasting color to make it stand out. The green, together with its red and yellow seashell design, gives meaning to the illustration.
This illustration reminds me that in everyday activities, there are those who put their heart and soul into continuing to improve or learn a new skill, whether it be a sport, a language, a local dish, or something else.
