Como parte de un reto, hice un dibujo de hace años (2002). En ese tiempo estaba en 6° grado de primaria y la tarea era hacer un dibujo alusivo al Día del campesino. Recuerdo que en ese momento tomé como referencia una imágen del libro Minka que nos daba el Ministerio de Educación.
As part of a challenge, I drew a picture from years ago (2002). At that time I was in 6th grade of primary school and the task was to make a drawing alluding to the Day of the farmer. I remember that at that time I took as a reference an image from the Minka book given to us by the Ministry of Education.
Es curioso "traer al presente" (2025) este dibujo. Aparte del lado artístico, veo que me encantaba el campo, las personas que trabajan allí, los cerros, el sol, el cielo y las plantas. En esta versión le coloqué surcos porque se nota que están en época de trasplante del maíz y es temporada de inicio de siembra (setiembre).
It is curious to ‘bring this drawing to the present’ (2025). Apart from the artistic side, I see that I loved the countryside, the people who work there, the hills, the sun, the sky and the plants. In this version I added furrows because you can see that they are in the corn transplanting season and it is the beginning of sowing season (september).
