Temple of Baalzebul - Brave Halfling Art

in OnChainArt3 years ago

Brave Halfling was one of the early publishers in the Old School Renaissance movement to put out adventures for the so called retro-clones of the early editions of Dungeons and Dragons. While they principally focused on Labyrinth Lord (a clone of Basic/Expert Dungeons and Dragons), in their early days they did put out material for OSRIC (a clone of 1st edition of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons). There were only two adventures released for the OSRIC adventures series, both written by Alphono Warden and illustrated by me. The Temple of Baalzebul and People of the Pit were two of my earliest professional publishing credits and for the most part I'm pleased with the work, though I can see how far I've come since. Alphonso's adventures are solidly in the pulp camp so if you are a fan of the late 1800's through Early 1900's pulp writers such as Abraham Merritt, Algernon Blackwood, H.P. Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, R.E. Howard, etc., then these should appeal to you. Here's a link to Drive Thru RPG for a PDF copy, I'm not sure how many physical copies exist but if you find one keep it! https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/58543/The-Forgotten-Temple-of-Baalzebul

Cheers and happy gaming!
