Zombie octopus was a rather unexpected request from the art direction of the Hyperborea TTRPG. However, I took it and ran with it. It was a lot of fun and I am very pleased with how it came out. This piece is from The Oblation Slab of the Hepatomancer, an adventure for Hyperborea. If you like Conan-eque swords & sorcery action with a twist of weird fantasy ala Clark Ashton Smith and a dash of cosmic horro ala H.P. Lovecraft, then I cannot recommend Northwind Adventures fantasy game Hyperborea highly enough. Jeff Talanian has done a fantastic job stewarding his vision and it really shines in all aspects. I always thought humans and wild animals as zombies because of the movies. Watching sea creatures as zombies shows that you are so very creative and thoughtful. This art looks great too. Have a nice day my friend ❤😁
