"Journey in Broad Daylight"

Since the Corona disaster, I have not taken any trips that involve overnight stays, but I used to travel to the mountains and the sea in the bright sunshine of broad daylight. I look at the photos from those trips and remember how I traveled. Now I go for morning walks, shopping, and to the hospital, but I always stay at home in broad daylight. It's too hot to do anything about it now, but when autumn comes, I'd like to go on a sketching trip to see the higanbana and autumn leaves.

「白昼の旅路」
ミクストメディア、45.5x53cm、2021
コロナ禍以後は宿泊を伴う旅には出ていませんが、以前は白昼の明るい陽射しの中、山や海へと旅行したものでした。その時の写真を見て、旅をしたことを思い出します。今は朝散歩や買い出しや通院に行きますが、白昼の時間はいつも家にこもっています。今は暑いから仕方ないけれど、秋になったら彼岸花や紅葉のスケッチ旅行に行きたいと思います。
