I initially had nothing to blog about today. I did some tedious laundry and cleaning in the morning, which I hate, and the rest of the day I just laid around. And I painted from noon, but I haven't finished it yet.

So today I decided to show you some of my past works. This is a work from 2014, 10 years ago. The translucent surface is made of thin non-woven fabric that I stretched and wrinkled to give the feeling of gentle spring breeze.

As far as I can see, there is no evidence that this work was submitted to a public exhibition (FUKUI Sam Hall Art Exhibition, Nishiwaki City Sam Hall Grand Prize Exhibition, or some other public exhibitions for small size paintings). I'm sure it must have been exhibited somewhere.

For me, it is a work that I think is well done even when I look at it now.

これは私が創った作品です。

今日は当初、ブログに書きたいことがなかったのです。朝は面倒くさい洗濯と嫌いな掃除をして、あとはぐったりしていましたし。そして昼からは絵を描いたのですがまだ完成していませんし。

そこで今日は過去の作品をお見せすることにしました。なんと10年前、2014年の作品です。表面の半透明になっている部分は薄い不織布を伸ばしたりしわを寄せたりして、優し気な春風の感じを出してみたのですがどうでしょう。

これは今見る限り、公募展（FUKUIサムホール美術展とか、西脇市サムホール大賞展とか、小さなサイズの絵の公募展もあるのです）に出した形跡はありません。どこかに出品したはずなんですが。

私にとっては今見てもよく出来たなと思える作品です。
