Greetings dear Hivers!!!

I have returned after a few days, in all this time I was working in a commission / Collaboration, my friend, compatriot and revolutionary @melooo182 asked me a long time ago that if I could create a design for a project he was working on, he It is about some physical cards (Playing Cards) but with designs on myths and legends, that is, folklore creatures from different cultures.

In my case, I had to do the -=Jorōgumo=-, after looking for a lot of information about this creature and looking for typical Japanese costumes and hairstyles, in addition to other things, I started to create my idea and thus begin to shape my idea.

Jorōgumo (Japanese Kanji: 絡新婦, Hiragana: じょろうぐも) is a type of Yōkai, a creature, ghost or goblin of Japanese folklore. It can shapeshift into a beautiful woman, so the kanji for its actual meaning is 女郎蜘蛛 or "woman-spider", and to write it instead as 絡新婦 ("entangling newlywed woman") is a jukujikun pronunciation of the kanji. In Toriyama Sekien's Gazu Hyakki Yagyō, it is depicted as a spider woman manipulating small fire-breathing spiders.

I hope that this project is a complete success, I hope that my design will be liked by those responsible for the project and by all those who come to buy the card set.

I made the sketch of this drawing with values, I did not do something as detailed, since I just wanted an idea of what the drawing could be like.

In the second step, I put a little color, I was detailing the body of the character that was what I started with.

In this step the background was a bit ready, something not so perfect but the drawing was already taking shape and had a slightly more decent direction, "according to me".

In this step I had a large part of the drawing ready, but it lacked more, much more, well put some lighting and a backlight, I made the clothes of the character and the face and some other details that I had there.

FINAL RESULT

For the end I adjusted the lighting, in the background it was not very noticeable, so I worked it a little more and I could see the outline of the trees, I also added a little cobwebs over there to complement a little with the Jorogumo character, also add some victims and made some adjustments to finish my design.

The truth is that one of my fears, being a small card that the details are lost or the final result does not look good... I hope that does not happen. :(

I don't know much about it, it's something I have to study... these are my first commissions and this is exactly the first for a real card.
