Painting Luka from Alien Stage | Illustration

I found this picture on Pinterest while I was searching for something to practice. I decided to draw Luka from Alien Stage with this pose. For some reason this picture reminded me of this character.

The draft

Rough colour layout, the lighting is a camera flash that's shooting from the front. So, I paint the shading with that in mind. I also tried to put a blue spot light from the back, because I see people do that when they plan the lighting in their painting. Not sure if I'm doing it correctly.

Rendering

Some colour overlay, and multiply layer to make it darker. Here is the final.
