This is the picture I’m going to practice with. The goal is to paint as quickly as possible without over-rendering.
From what I’ve learned online, the trick is to first paint the major shadows and colors, then layer the smaller, detailed strokes on top.

The major look of this guy is done, then I paint the base colour
Basic shadows and light
Start working on the face. I spent the most of my time to learn how to paint his nose haha.
Then I felt like I had spent too much time on this painting, so I quickly wrapped it up after making a few adjustments
