This is a very old work done in gouache. Then I wanted to experiment, and one day a thick craft paper came to hand, with which I didn't even know what to do. How to apply?
It seemed to me a bad idea to work with watercolors on such a basis, because the tone of transparent paint will be distorted by gray paper, and I didn't have good colored pencils then. And then I used the good old gouache, which helped me to realize the conceived creative idea.
Это очень давняя работа, сделанная гуашью. Тогда мне хотелось экспериментировать, и однажды под руку попала плотная крафтовая бумага, с которой я даже не знал, что делать. Как применить?
Работать по такой основе акварелью мне показалось плохой идеей, потому что тон прозрачной краски исказится за счёт серой бумаги, а хороших цветных карандашей у меня тогда не было. И тогда я использовал старую добрую гуашь, которая и помогла мне воплотить задуманную творческую идею.
