A poem from when I was feeling down - Sadness

Sadness/
Causes pain, and the pain makes me wail/
I feel faint, and my heart, it aches/
I sink low, until it breaks, I breath slow, until it fades/
Hope in me to meet my mate/
Slowly drifts, fading into the ethers of the mind, like whales descending into the depths of the sea/
Sadness/
Fueling my chest with fury, I am week at the knees/
Sadness,always seems to find me, like the shine from the sun/
Sadness, finds me, like an itch, I can't hide from it/
Previous line may sound desperate, yet, it drives my point/
Sadness, habitual to me, a friend from whom I want to refrain/
Accustomed to him, in a while I process the pain/
Sadness, a part of living, which can be conquered like levels in a game/
